Description
"Future leaders" is a learning & development program designed for soon-to-be promoted specialists and newly assigned managers.
Mainly created to enrich their management skill set and prepare them for the new role.

Context
As an L&D team, we discovered that newly promoted managers usually resigned from their duties or even jobs in the first 90 days.
Leading the team could be stressful enough and when you don't have the manager's skillset or experience, you can feel frustration all the way through.
Solution
We designed the L&D program to support employees during their obtaining new management roles.

Risks
Not enough time during ILTs to covere all the essential topics.
Learners may find dificult to implement some of the practices.

Learning journey map
ILT consists of three modules and, at least, two on-the-job assignments.
Participants get the assignments (practice) at the end of each modules, should execute them in the first week after the module, submit results, and get feedback.
At the end of the 3rd module, participants get the final on-the-job assignment which they are obligated to discuss with their manager.
